Principle of Tourist Residence

Definition from the 14 February 1986 Decree
Article 1 – II a :

“The tourist residence is a listed commercial establishment for accommodation, being the subject of permanent or seasonal operation. It consists of a homogeneous collection of furnished rooms or apartments laid out in collective or discrete units, offered for letting for occupation by the day, week or month to tourist clientele not resident there. It is provided with a minimum of equipment and services in common. It is managed in all cases by only one person or entity.”
